The problem
Down payment assistance, home repair grants, and municipal loan programs across Orange County exist — but they're scattered across 34 different city websites, the County of Orange, and a handful of nonprofit partners, each with its own page, its own terminology, and its own way of going quietly out of date. There was no single place to check what your own city actually offers.
What we do about it
Every program listed has been individually verified against its official source — not scraped, not guessed, and not generated. Where a program's status, dollar amount, or eligibility rule couldn't be confirmed, it's marked that way rather than presented as fact. Programs are periodically re-checked, and the underlying pages are monitored for changes, so a program that closes or changes its terms doesn't sit here silently outdated.
